Zac Efron is an American actor and singer. He rose to fame in 2005 for playing Troy Bolton in the Disney Channel film series High School Musical. His most famous films include Hairspray (2007), 17 Again (2009), The Lucky One (2012), Neighbors (2014), Baywatch (2017), The Greatest Showman (2017) and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019). In 2008, Efron was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award for his performance in Hairspray. He also received a Daytime Emmy Award in 2021 for outstanding daytime program host for the Netflix travel docuseries Down to Earth with Zac Efron.
