A pet is a family member. It's that simple. They become your best friend, your only friend, your truest confidant, and your angel. Losing them is about the hardest thing you will ever go through. It's like losing a part of yourself. There are others all around you that go through this and by coming together and being there for one another it's comforting and moving to know there are others experiencing the same pain. That's the general gist of pet_loss.

Rules are simple:
- Be kind. Everyone here is grieving in some way. Do not disrespect anyone. It will not be tolerated.
- LJ cuts are nice for multiple pictures. Please feel free to show pictures of your furry friend. It helps.
- Only post communities or links that are relevant to what we're going through.
- Be RESPECTFUL. I cannot emphasis this enough.

If you are someone or who know someone who has felt the pain of losing a pet, don't hesitate to talk about it here, or with any of the members. We know how you feel.
