TOUR COMMUNIQUE!
WEST COAST TOUR!
This is not an April Fool’s Day prank. It’s all happening!
I’m hitting the road for the first time since 2003 when Matthew Sweet, Shawn Mullins and I toured as The Thorns.
I’ll be joined, as always, by my trusty sidekick, Elaine Summers. We’ll be leaning heavily on songs from my debut album, Necktie Second, which is getting the double vinyl deluxe reissue treatment this year. We will also share songs from my forthcoming LP.
Since my last tour with The Thorns, Elaine and I have racked up countless hours singing in our living room. We often say, ‘That sounded pretty darn good. It’s a shame nobody got to hear it.’ So, in the last year, we booked a few gigs close to home, and they went amazingly well. The natural next step was to take the show on the road.
