delababy 05:14 pm - Intro PostHi everyone, Name: LisaLocation: OC, CAAge: 29Current weight: 255Goal weight: 130Average weight loss/week (if currently on Phentermine or any other meds): Just started PhentermineVery briefly explain your current diet/exercise regimen: I am a nanny, so I run after toddlers all day, plus I try to make the gym 3-4 times a week, usually 2-3 thoughI was a very athletic teenager and was never skinny, but had a nice figure. Going through college, getting married, and working, along with some oh-so-pleasant hormonal irregularities, found me 100 pounds overweight and having little success taking it off. After getting out of the corporate world and starting to nanny, I really see what I am missing by carrying the weight and am taking this very seriously.I started Phen on Thursday and so far so good. I am not hungry at all!My doc prescribed it for me and I am under his care. Currently taking 30mg in the morning and 37.5 in the afternoon. I am being careful to drink a ton of water and charting my food and exercise on www.extrapounds.comFor those who have been on Phen for a little while, did you have insomnia and itchyness? If yes, when did it start to subside?Good luck to everyone here and can't wait for my results!!!Current Mood: excitedexcited

Yeah I know, he wants to take advantage of the "works better the first few weeks" properties of the drug and help me lose enough right away to make workouts easier on me. He is watching me very closely. He specializes in weight loss, and has some extreme ideas, but also has a great long term success rate. His theory is that obesity is a disease and it about time we start treating it as such and using the medications available to us to help people live better longer.

The insomnia has eased off a little. I am taking Hylands Calms Forte at night and it has made a huge difference.

The itching is still a little annoying, but getting better every day.

After the success I have had this past week, I am willing to put up with a lot. I lost 8 pounds in seven days without feeling hungry at all!
