In other news, idlechic will be going on a mini sabbatical from Photophiles, but I will be continuing on. While she is on leave, I will be taking on 1 or 2 people to join me in the photo projects. Other galleries will not be open for submission.

If this is something you are interested in, these are some of the requirements:

1. If you use photos taken on film for your project, you must have them scanned and then sized to the requirements for the site. Digital photos just need to be sized. The sizing info will be given later if you are chosen.

2. We do not use digital manipulation in our photos; your photos will be held to the same standard. Basic corrections such as dust or scratches, cropping, red eye, levels, etc. are allowed, but nothing that would change the photo dramatically.

3. If you have work online or prints that we can view, we'd like to see them!

4. We'd also like to know what cameras you will be using so we can include that in your info for the site.

5. Project subjects will be decided on after someone is chosen. If you have suggestions, they are welcome.

6. If you are unsure of whether you can complete the project in a timely manner, please don't apply.
