So as we all know, Cyrus insists that pokeballs weaken a pokemon's natural abilities. However there's a ball out there that HEIGHTENS it.So let's go out on a limb here and assume that Cyrus is right and not just babbling on as he does. What, then, makes the Dark Ball the OPPOSITE of this?I'd love to know how the Dark Balls were created. It seems like something Sebastian and Namba's combined efforts would create--Namba for the emotional adjustment and Sebastian because someone actually has to get some work done. So how the hell do the Hikoukyuu and the Battle Pyramid fly? Some sort of gravity dampeners or something?In the case of the Hikoukyuu (I always have to look at the keyboard when I type that), the propellers were apparently added for "aesthetics" so they probably don't have much to do with the flight capabilities. Unless Jiri was given a choice by the designer or something.Even then, Battle Pyramid has nothing even close to that. Granted, it probably can't get as much lift either, but it still moves from place to place by flying, albiet lower. |

The question that's been on my mind since the second I saw his card:What the hell is the deal with Impostor Oak? Because in the cards he's set up to be some sort of evil variant of the real thing, in PokeWake he was a relatively nice doddering old guy with no mad science at all, and on the show he was James. First post, yay! And so I post in the community that was born from the thought "What if all lovers of Pokemon science and Pokemon scientists could unite to share their common interests?"Or something.Anyway, welcome everyone to Pokemon Science, a... Pokemon science LJ comm. Let me do some housekeeping here and beg for your help and with luck we should be able to kick it into high gear. First, regarding the rules, I've never run an LJ comm like this before, so if anyone would like to help me draw up some rules, twould be much appreciated.Second, the Interests.I think I covered most of the Pokemon scientists there were, including obscure ones from the TCG and minor ones, like Seymour, Westwood, and Quackenpoker, as well as any nutjob who likes tinkering around (Annie, Lawrence, Oakley) and characters remotely related to Pokemonistic science (Gary, the silver Rockets), not to mention any Pokemon that's ever been the subject of research or discovered through it (Mew, Deoxys, Gyarados). If you see anywhere I might be lacking, don't be afraid to tell me.Finally, we definitely need a tagging system. Just tag your entries with specific things, like on this one.
