The potential of Cemara Beach in Banyuwangi Regency not only evergreen plants and turtles, but al... more The potential of Cemara Beach in Banyuwangi Regency not only evergreen plants and turtles, but also there are mangrove plants that have many benefits not only from the ecological side as well as the economic side. The research aimed to determine the strategy for developing ecotourism based on alternative and integrated livelihoods at Cemara Beach. The method in the study is a descriptive method, with data analysis using potential mangrove analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results showed the potential of mangrove forests in the Cemara Banyuwangi Coast Area, found 12 types of mangroves, namely Acanthus ilicifolius L., Derris trifoliata Lour, Avicennia alba, Clerodendron inerme Gaertn, Sonneratia caseolaris, Rhizophora apiculata, Avicennia marina, Excoecaria agallocha L., Cydaisy serrenai, Sesuvium portulacastrum L, Nyepa fruticans, and Pandanus odoratissima. Results of the SWOT analysis formulate: 1) increasing knowledge and technology of the community to create alternative livelihoods based on natural resources; 2) improvement of road access to Cemara Beach and several infrastructure facilities to support the development of Cemara Beach ecotourism; 3) sustainable regulation and management of Cemara Beach ecotourism, based on turtle conservation, mangroves, and cypress; 4) expansion of cypress cover on the beach and mangrove cover.

Sumber mata air disalurkan melalui perpipaan menuju bangunan penangkap air sederhana. Selanjutnya air disalurkan melalui perpipaan menuju rumah-rumah warga. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah perpipaan sering mengalami kebocoran baik pada sambungan perpipaan maupun pada pipa itu sendiri, sehingga air yang keluar bercampur dengan angin. Permasalahan lainnya adalah debit aliran air yang keluar belum konsisten, belum adanya sistem penampungan air sementara sehingga air keluar terus menerus sekalipun tidak digunakan. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan terkait teknik pengairan dan perpipaan dalam pengelolaan air bersih. Plambing adalah seni, teknologi perpipaan dan peralatan untuk menyediakan air bersih ke tempat ya... more Plambing adalah seni, teknologi perpipaan dan peralatan untuk menyediakan air bersih ke tempat yang akan dikehendaki, baik dalam hal kualitas, kuantitas dan kontinuitas untuk mencapai kondisi higienis dan kenyamanan pada tempat yang diinginkan. Metode analisa dengan cara penaksiran jumlah penghuni, penaksiran jumlah pengunjung, penaksiran debit, penaksiran diameter pipa, penaksiran volume air buangan dan penaksiran volume septictank. Pada Gedung Pelayanan BPKB Polres Sumenep berdasarkan luas lantai efektif didapatkan penaksiran jumlah penghuni sebanyak 74 orang dan untuk jumlah pengunjung sebanyak 37 orang. Kebutuhan air bersih untuk penghuni sebesar 7,4 m3/hari, kebutuhan air bersih untuk pengunjung sebesar 3,7 m3/hari. Land use and land cover (LULC) change needs regularly monitor because it causes a multiplayer eff... more Land use and land cover (LULC) change needs regularly monitor because it causes a multiplayer effect. This study examines the LULC in Banyuwangi regency between 2013 using Landsat-8 and 2021 using Sentinel-2 satellite images data. All processing data used Google Earth Engine (GEE) with supervised classification, classified eight LULC characteristics. The results show that GEE can quickly process image data from the acquisition process, cloud removal, classification to accuracy tests. LULC significant changes in paddy fields (-3.76%) and forests (+3.08%), moderate changes in plantations (+0.44 %), water bodies (-0.39%), built-up (+0.34%), and bare soil (+0.27%), while minor changes occur in field (-0.01%) and shrubs (+0.26%). Even though forest land is increasing, the loss of paddy fields must be a serious concern to maintain the stability of rice stocks.

Flooding makes land in the Badeng Watershed critical. This research aims to identify critical lands for conservation actions in the Badeng Watershed. To identify the criticality of land, a geographic information system is used with a scoring method, referring to the Regulation of the Director-General of Watershed and Protection Forest Management Number P.3/PDASHL/SET/KUM.1/7/2018 About Technical Guidelines for Critical Land Spatial Data Preparation. The results showed that the Badeng Watershed has a rather critical area of 10.82 Km 2 (20.65%) in Sumber Asih Hamlet, Mangaran, Sumberarum Village, Songgon District with conservation efforts Lemongrass planting, vetiver grass, reforestation, and rorak. The potential land area has 8.08 Km 2 (14.43%) in Bejong Hamlet, Krajan Sumberarum Village, and Bayu Village Songgon District with efforts to conserve multiple planting systems, forest farming systems, making check dams/gully plugs in grooves, ditches around the slopes, and banks of the Badeng River. The non-critical land area has 33.49 Km 2 (63.93%) in Singojuruh Subdistrict, Alasmalang, Rogojampi, to conserve the planting of rotating cropping systems mulch utilization, mounds, and terracing in agricultural areas.

This was the case with 4 major rivers in Banyuwangi Regency, namely Baru, Setail, Bomo, and Tambong rivers. The watersheds in Banyuwangi are shaped alike to bird feathers, belonging to the dendritic drainage type with an elongated drainage form, relatively small discharge, and flooding that occurs for a relatively long time. The use of downstream areas by residents for sand mining indicates a high amount of sediment in the watersheds. The purpose of this study was to model the sediment load in the bird feather-type watersheds along the main rivers of Banyuwangi Regency. Data from water level, flow velocity, and discharge measurements were correlated with the results of suspended load and bedload analyses to create rating curves. The strength and durability of pavement construction depend on the nature and bearing capacity of the soil. The soil tested was the most dominant soil in the Siliragung sub-district, namely reddish-brown latosol soil and lithosol and gray grumusol soil. Recently, the flood intensity that brought by tributary rivers in the catchment area of Pacal res... more Recently, the flood intensity that brought by tributary rivers in the catchment area of Pacal reservoir has increased, both in the quantity of runoff and sediment volume. The research aims to set up erosion rate modeling and find the formulation of the Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) at Pacal reservoir. The research used USLE and MUSLE methods as comparator to find sediment yield accuracy at Pacal reservoir, by applying ArcView SWAT-X software. Total average annual erosion rate in the catchment area of Pacal reservoir which has area 82 Km 2 calculated using USLE and MUSLE methods are 159,31 ton/ha/yr and 582 ton/ha/yr respectively. MUSLE method resulted SDR which is most closely to SDR observation if it is compared to USLE method. In this research, MUSLE-Sediment-Discharge Rating Curve method has evaluation values MSE = 0,08; RMSE = 0,29; and Nash = 0,75. Furthermore, Sediment Delivery Ratio at catchment area of Pacal reservoir can be formulated as 0,29 3,83.

Penentuan pola musim (curah hujan) di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yaitu dalam penentuan periode-periode ... more Penentuan pola musim (curah hujan) di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yaitu dalam penentuan periode-periode musim basah dan musim kering sampai saat ini sangat sulit diprediksi. Hal ini dikarenakan selain perubahan iklimnya sangat drastis dan juga kondisi hidrologis dan faktor topografi di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yang menyebabkan cuaca tidak menentu dan berbeda di daerah satu dengan daerah lainnnya. Begitu pula sebaran stasiun hujan yang tidak merata sehingga menyebabkan data curah hujan tersebut kurang bisa mewakili daerah yang luas. Maksud utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan deskripsi tentang potensi penerapan teori fuzzy di dalam bidang teknik pengembangan sumber daya air yang secara “inherent” dalam penentuan pola musim dari curah hujan di Kabupaten Banyuwangi untuk pengambilan keputusan pada periode musim basah ataukah musim kering dalam bentuk aplikasi program Fuzzy Logic. Secara garis besar langkah-langkah dalam pengerjaan studi ini antara lain adalah pengumpulan data-data sekunder seperti data curah hujan harian, data debit banjir, data klimatologi harian Kabupaten Banyuwangi, melakukan analisa hidrologi, analisa statistik, input data ke aplikasi fuzzy logic, dan validasi output model terhadap data lapangan. Musim di Kabupaten Banyuwangi berdasarkan hasil analisa curah hujan dengan aplikasi fuzzy logic didapatkan pola musim basah rata-rata terjadi pada bulan Desember–Maret, sedangkan pola musim kering rata-rata terjadi pada bulan Mei-Oktober. Diindikasikan pada bulan April dan Nopember terjadi musim peralihan/pancaroba karena pada beberapa bulan dalam satu tahun yang seharusnya musim kemarau tetapi pada kenyataannya terjadi musim hujan yang diakibatkan oleh penguapan air laut secara besar-besaran. The potential land area has 8.08 Km 2 (14.43%) in Bejong Hamlet, Krajan Sumberarum Village, and Bayu Village Songgon District with efforts to conserve multiple planting systems, forest farming systems, making check dams/gully plugs in grooves, ditches around the slopes, and banks of the Badeng River. The non-critical land area has 33.49 Km 2 (63.93%) in Singojuruh Subdistrict, Alasmalang, Rogojampi, to conserve the planting of rotating cropping systems mulch utilization, mounds, and terracing in agricultural areas.

This was the case with 4 major rivers in Banyuwangi Regency, namely Baru, Setail, Bomo, and Tambong rivers. The watersheds in Banyuwangi are shaped alike to bird feathers, belonging to the dendritic drainage type with an elongated drainage form, relatively small discharge, and flooding that occurs for a relatively long time. The use of downstream areas by residents for sand mining indicates a high amount of sediment in the watersheds. Recently, the flood intensity that brought by tributary rivers in the catchment area of Pacal res... more Recently, the flood intensity that brought by tributary rivers in the catchment area of Pacal reservoir has increased, both in the quantity of runoff and sediment volume. The research aims to set up erosion rate modeling and find the formulation of the Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) at Pacal reservoir. The research used USLE and MUSLE methods as comparator to find sediment yield accuracy at Pacal reservoir, by applying ArcView SWAT-X software. Total average annual erosion rate in the catchment area of Pacal reservoir which has area 82 Km 2 calculated using USLE and MUSLE methods are 159,31 ton/ha/yr and 582 ton/ha/yr respectively. MUSLE method resulted SDR which is most closely to SDR observation if it is compared to USLE method. In this research, MUSLE-Sediment-Discharge Rating Curve method has evaluation values MSE = 0,08; RMSE = 0,29; and Nash = 0,75. Furthermore, Sediment Delivery Ratio at catchment area of Pacal reservoir can be formulated as 0,29 3,83.

Penentuan pola musim (curah hujan) di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yaitu dalam penentuan periode-periode ... more Penentuan pola musim (curah hujan) di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yaitu dalam penentuan periode-periode musim basah dan musim kering sampai saat ini sangat sulit diprediksi. Hal ini dikarenakan selain perubahan iklimnya sangat drastis dan juga kondisi hidrologis dan faktor topografi di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yang menyebabkan cuaca tidak menentu dan berbeda di daerah satu dengan daerah lainnnya. Begitu pula sebaran stasiun hujan yang tidak merata sehingga menyebabkan data curah hujan tersebut kurang bisa mewakili daerah yang luas. Maksud utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan deskripsi tentang potensi penerapan teori fuzzy di dalam bidang teknik pengembangan sumber daya air yang secara “inherent” dalam penentuan pola musim dari curah hujan di Kabupaten Banyuwangi untuk pengambilan keputusan pada periode musim basah ataukah musim kering dalam bentuk aplikasi program Fuzzy Logic. Secara garis besar langkah-langkah dalam pengerjaan studi ini antara lain adalah pengumpulan data-data sekunder seperti data curah hujan harian, data debit banjir, data klimatologi harian Kabupaten Banyuwangi, melakukan analisa hidrologi, analisa statistik, input data ke aplikasi fuzzy logic, dan validasi output model terhadap data lapangan. Musim di Kabupaten Banyuwangi berdasarkan hasil analisa curah hujan dengan aplikasi fuzzy logic didapatkan pola musim basah rata-rata terjadi pada bulan Desember–Maret, sedangkan pola musim kering rata-rata terjadi pada bulan Mei-Oktober. Diindikasikan pada bulan April dan Nopember terjadi musim peralihan/pancaroba karena pada beberapa bulan dalam satu tahun yang seharusnya musim kemarau tetapi pada kenyataannya terjadi musim hujan yang diakibatkan oleh penguapan air laut secara besar-besaran.
