This method comparing to the other methods is very fast and it does not need high temperatures during the reaction. The spherical NdFeO3 nanoparticles with an average particles size of about 40 nm can be obtained at a relatively high calcination temperature of 800 °C for 4 h. Also, product obtained by this method are uniform in both morphology and particles size. The phase composition, morphology, lattice parameters and size of particles in these product are characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX). The XRD analysis reveals only the pattern corresponding to perovskite type NdFeO3 which crystallizes in the orthorhombic structure. Energy dispersive X-ray analysis confirms the elemental compositions of the synthesized material.

However, most existing studies have focused on obtaining reaction rates under isothermal conditions [1], limiting their applicability to practical industrial reactor conditions. This novel research aims to determine the overall thermal decomposition rate of methane to hydrogen and carbon in adiabatic conditions, covering the range of unstable industrial reactor temperatures (850 to 1200°C). The Coats and Redfern model-fitting method was employed to calculate the reaction rate under non-isothermal conditions, and the resulting models were compared with experimental data. The findings reveal the Contracting Cylinder model as the best-fit mathematical representation with less than ±2.8% error. By extending the kinetic model to non-isothermal conditions, this approach addresses a critical aspect of real-world applications.

Exposure to this chemical negatively affects the skin, mucous membrane, and respiratory system. It can pass through the blood-brain barrier, potentially causing neurotoxicity. According to studies, formaldehyde might be involved in memory impairment and the cognitive decline process in Alzheimer disease (AD). Objectives: This study aimed to simulate chronic occupational formaldehyde exposure in rats and study its impacts on passive avoidance conditioning and anxiety. Methods: Twenty-four adult male Wistar rats were divided into four groups of 6 rats each. After an adaptation period, the rats were exposed to 1, 2, and 3 ppm formaldehyde vapor in an exposure chamber, 6 hours per day for 7 days. The control group was exposed to saline. After the exposure period, a shuttle box for passive avoidance conditioning and an elevated plus-maze test for assessing anx...

OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study was accurate asses- sment of existence of cartilaginous cells in penis shaft of one- humped camel. METHODS: Six camel penises from matured camels more than 3 years-old were collected from an abattoir. Different specimens were prepared from each penis and kept in 10% formalin container for fixation. After passing different stages of histotechnique methods, several slides were prepared from each specimen, stained with Haematoxylin Eosin and studied. RESULTS: Results showed that the majority of cartilagin- ous cells were inside the collagen fibers of tunica albuginea and around corpus cavernosum and corpus spongiosum of penis and their distributions were dissimilar in different parts of the penis shaft. This survey further showed that in penis shaft length, the majority of cartilaginous cells were inside tunica albuginea, w...

Co-precipitation can produce fine, high-purity, stoichiometric particles of single and multicomponent metal oxides. The product is characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX). The XRD analysis shows only the pattern corresponding to perovskitetype NdFeO3 which crystallizes in the orthorhombic system. The spherical NdFeO3 nanocrystals with an average particle size of about 69 nm can be obtained at a relatively high calcining temperature of 800°C. Also, sphere-like NdFeO3 nanocrystals obtained by this method are uniform in both morphology and particle size. The results indicate that the amount of surfactant, pH and rate of stirring have an important role in the homogeneity and size of product. The preparation ...

Despite enormous progresses in the understanding of human reproductive physiology, the underlying causes of male infertility remains undefined in about 50.0% of cases, which are referred to as idiopathic infertility. Human apurinic/apyrimidinic endonuclease (ApE1) is a multifunctional protein that has an important role in the base excision repair (BER) pathway. ApE1 -141 T>G polymorphism is located in the promoter region. The aim of this study was to investigate the relation between ApE1 -141T>G polymorphism and idiopathic male infertility. Methods: In this case-control study, Samples were collected from 90 patients diagnosed with idiopathic male infertility and also from 60 control subjects. Collected samples were genotyped by allele-specific PCR (AS-PCR). Results: There was significantly association between -141T>G polymorphism and idiopathic ...

The laser pump used in this oscillator is the third harmonic of a Nd-YAG laser with a wavelength of 355 nm and a nonlinear crystal used in the cavity of this oscillator is BBO. In order to produce tangible efficiency, the phase matching angles required for this oscillator with the help of software MATLAB is calculated. The effective factor in the efficiency of the optical parametric oscillator is the intensity ratio of the input pump beam to the pump threshold required to initiate the parametric process. With the help of numerical calculations, the optimal value for this factor is calculated and using that optimum length for the nonlinear crystal in the parametric oscillator is determined. The suitable length for BBO crystals in this research is 10 to 15 mm.

These systems are based on processing pipelines where operations on data are performed in a chain of consecutive steps. Normally, the operations performed by these pipelines are set at design time, and any changes to their functionality require the applications to be restarted. This is not always acceptable, for example, when we cannot afford downtime or when a long-running calculation would lose significant progress. The introduction of variation points to distributed processing pipelines allows for on-the-fly updating of individual analysis steps. In this paper, we extend such basic variation point functionality to provide fully automated reconfiguration of the processing steps within a running pipeline through an automated planner. We have enabled pipeline modeling through constraints. Based on these constraints, we not only ensure that configurations are compatible with type but also verif...

The pine marten (Martes martes) is a small carnivore found in Europe and Western Asia and belongs to the Mustelidae family. For the purpose of this study, fresh a carcass which was found in the hunters' trap, was brought to the anatomy hall of veterinary faculty, for anatomical studies. After the routine preparation of the specimen, extrinsic muscles of forelimbs and intrinsic muscles situated on the shoulder and brachium regions were studied by gross dissection. Here we aim to describe the morphology of extrinsic as well as shoulder and brachium muscles of pine marten forelimb and compare them to the other carnivores. Overall, our findings indicated that forelimb muscles, in pine marten is highly conservative. However, some significant differences in origin, insertion and the number of sections were observed in some muscles. These results will be useful for comparative myolo...

This transition metal oxide has been extensively investigated because it has unique electrical and catalytic properties. In this report, a novel microwave method for preparation of α-Fe2O3 nanoparticles has been developed. The process contained two steps: first, precursor were obtained from a mixed solution of 50 ml of 0.3 M Fe (NO3)2.9H2O and 1.2 g of urea under 540 W microwave irradiated for 6 min. Then, the precursors were calcined at 800 °C to fabricate pure α-Fe2O3 (hematite) nanoparticles for 4 h. Nanoparticles were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX) technique. The results indicate that the morphologies of final products significantly depend on the reaction conditions including the reaction time, the initial concentration of precursor, reagent and calcinations tempe...

The Alq3 layer was evaporated on the PVK layer for thickness ranging from 15 to 130 nm and I-V characteristic and electroluminescence were investigated. It was found that the Alq3 with 85 nm thicknesses gives the highest electrotoluminescence, as well as the lowest threshold voltage of the device.
