As CIM states, ‘Marketing has its origins in the exchange processes’. These exchanges can involve a product, a service, an idea or an object. Marketing is the tool through which organisations can reach out to new consumers and keep their current clients informed of what is new in the business and what it can offer them. By doing this, the organisations build strong relationships in the marketplace they trade and deliver superior customer value .
