"ToQ 4gou!"

―ToQ 4gou's roll call[src]

Hikari Nonomura (野々村 洸, Nonomura Hikari) is ToQ 4gou (トッキュウ4号, Tokkyū Yon-gō, ToQ #4), the Green Ranger of the ToQgers.

History[]

Hikari was one of the friends, as well as classmates of Right Suzuki, Haru Tokashiki, Kagura Izumi and Mio Natsume. When Dark Emperor Zet's darkness as well as the Shadow Line invaded Subarugahama, their home, Hikari and his friends were spirited by the Rainbow Line light while Right was consumed by the darkness. Tvicon TV STORY-Station 45: The Home We Left Behind Nonetheless, he and three other friends were turned into adults by Rainbow Line President's Imagination and hired as ToQgers, rescuing cities that were invaded by the Shadow Line.

One day, Hikari and his friends managed to reunite with Right, their old friend when he was mistakenly kidnapped in one of Bag Shadow's Kuliners. After Right was appointed as ToQ 1gou, he accidentally unlocked one of their functions, the Transfer Changes and managed to defeat Bag Shadow. Tvicon TV STORY-Starting Station: Let's Ride the Limited Express Train Ever since then, he and his teammates resorted to free towns that were invaded the Shadow Line while searching for their old hometown. They also receive an aid from Akira Nijino, who formerly a former Shadow Line worker Zaram that gained the mantle of ToQ 6Gou.

It is revealed that Hikari and Right used to train in Right's grandfather's karate dojo. Hikari joined after Right but worked harder than him. So when he had still lost to Right in a match, he was really sad. Hikari then challenges Right to a game of beating the maximum number of Kuros when they infiltrate the building under the control of Chuusaki Shadow. Hikari ends up winning in this game by beating one more Kuro than Right. Tvicon TV STORY-Station 33: Number One at Karate

During the Christmas event, they managed to find their hometown, Subarugahama but were surprised when they discovered that the town was now the foundation of Castle Terminal. Tvicon TV STORY-Station 40: Who Is He? He Is Whom? Tvicon TV STORY-Station 41: The Christmas Battle

It is also revealed that Hikari lives alone with his mother. His mother comes home late from work and his grandmother visits from time to time and takes care of the rest of the work at his home. He cares for his family deeply and this fuels his desire to become stronger and protect them. This is also why he thinks becoming an adult isn't all that bad, since this way he can protect his family. Tvicon TV STORY-Station 43: The Locked Door

After the Castle Terminal was relocated out of Subarugahama with the town purified by Gritta's assistance, Hikari and his friends were tricked by Right into giving their Rainbow Passes to prevent their interference in Right and Akira's raid into Castle Terminal, as well as to ensure their safety by turning them into children and leave them in their normal lives without Right's existence. Tvicon TV STORY-Station 45: The Home We Left Behind Unknown to Right, Akira and Wagon had planned to make them remember their older selves with previous photos of them and Right placed on their tree base as a safety precaution and backup plans. Thanks to the photos, Hikari and the others reuse it as their new Rainbow Passes and managed to rescue Right from despair in the darkness. Tvicon TV STORY-Station 46: The Final Destination Along with the ToQgers, they defeated the remaining Shadow Line armies, and seemingly defeated Zet before Gritta spirited him with a Kuliner. The five core ToQgers seemingly trapped in their adult forms but their families were able to remember them due to their Imaginations and finally returned to their child forms. Akira and the other Rainbow Line departs, while the children continue their regular lives. Tvicon TV STORY-Terminal Station: The Shining Ones

Personality[]

Hikari is calm, logical, intelligent, and insightful. He is a straight-laced realist who keeps the rest of the team grounded. Hikari's imagination power is the lowest in the team, and he can only imagine things that are grounded. Due to his logical ways of thinking, he and Right often have opposing views on how to do things.

Hikari's natural fighting power is very strong which puts him on even footing with Right. He is as competitive as Right, which is why he was frustrated and sad after losing to him in a karate match.

Hikari is a loner which caused him to not have any friends until he met Right and the others. His loner personality is also why he often eats his food away from the rest of his friends. This causes Mio to give him special attention (much to Tokatti's envy) and forcefully include him in group activities. Due to his personality being similar to Mio, he is quite obedient to her. He likes playing with his Kendama given to him by his grandmother, especially when in deep thought.

Hikari is also moody and is quick to speak his mind, for better or worse. This often causes him to be misunderstood as cold and harsh. He also has a selfish and childish side. Despite that, he deeply cares about his loved ones and wishes to become stronger to protect them.
