Shigeru Chiba (千葉 繁, Chiba Shigeru) is a Japanese voice actor, actor, talent and Director of audiography.
As a voice actor, he is well known for his roles as Megatron from the Beast Era of Transformers and a variation of said character in 2018's Transformers: Cyberverse, Raditz and Garlic Jr. (Dragon Ball Z), Don Kanonji (Bleach) and Buggy (One Piece). He also has voiced Kefka Palazzo in Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Kazuma Kuwabara in YuYu Hakusho and F.A.N.G in Street Fighter series.
He is quite known to being a hammy voice actor, and has a habit of nearly straining his voice to reach the level of hamminess he often reaches.
He had various roles in Super Sentai. He had voiced Kabuki Novice in Gosei Sentai Dairanger, Lantern Novice in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, the Elder Sneak Brother in the Gokaiger episode, Little Spy Tactics and the voices of the Kyoryugers' equipment, as well as being the narrator of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. He also portrayed Doctor Woorushade/Kyoryu Violet I, the inventor of the modern Kyoryugers' gear, Kyoryuger' equipment and his recording were also used for the King Gaburicalibur in Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger.
