The Super Sentai 45th Anniversary was officially commemorated primarily in 2021 by the broadcast of the 45th series entry, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. Concurrent with the Kamen Rider 50th Anniversary, the campaigns were combined into a second Super Hero Year by Toei Company.

2020[]

Initially, the 44th series installment and second magic-themed series Mashin Sentai Kiramager, commemorated 45 years following the premiere of the original Himitsu Sentai Gorenger with references all over the series. The series was hindered by the COVID-19 pandemic that postponed episodes by 5 weeks and the movie by half a year.

• On January 1, 2022, in order to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Tiger, the Super Sentai official twitter account had posted a special image of all (sabertooth)tiger-motif mecha: DenziTiger, Guardian Beast SaberTiger, Mythical Qi Beast Won Tiger, GaoTiger, GekiTiger, Engine Jetras, Tora Origami, Gosei Tiger, Byakkomaru, Cube Tiger and Kishiryu TigerLance.
