From 2030 to 2040, Indonesia is expected to benefit from demographic bonuses through a labor mark... more From 2030 to 2040, Indonesia is expected to benefit from demographic bonuses through a labor market where the majority of the population is of productive age (15-64 years). Generation Z, which covers around 27.94% of Indonesia's population or around 74.93 million individuals, dominates the results of the 2020 Population Census. In 2023, Generation Z is expected to be between 11 and 26 years old. Especially in DKI Jakarta which provides 18% of national income in 2019, research on training methods for Generation Z is important to prepare them as competent employees in the future. The research involved 255 samples of Generation Z who had worked in DKI Jakarta, using a quantitative approach and hypothesis testing. The research findings indicate that training using the In-Class, Role Model, and Assignment/Experimental methods has a positive impact on the performance of Generation Z. Generation Z's preference for training methods is Assignment/Experimental Training, followed by Role Model Training, and InClass Training. In conclusion, Generation Z is more likely to prefer training that involves active participation in work rather than a passive approach.

Para pekerja kini memiliki pandangan berbeda pasca pandemi, di mana mereka memandang kesejahteraan sebagai aspek penting dalam pekerjaan dan proposisi nilai karyawan. Oleh karena itu penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana masyarakat Indonesia memandang masalah ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei elektronik dengan responden yang merupakan pekerja di sekitar wilayah metropolitan Jabodetabek, dengan rentang usia tersebar antara 26-35 tahun. Survei didasarkan pada tiga variabel, yaitu proposisi nilai karyawan (Idv), niat mengundurkan diri (Dv), dan kepuasan karyawan (M). Hasil kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis regresi termoderasi dan analisis regresi linier, untuk melihat keabsahan hipotesis. Penelitian ini menemukan: (1) proposisi nilai karyawan berpengaruh negatif secara signifikan terhadap niat mengundurkan diri, dan (2) hubungan antara proposisi nilai karyawan dan niat mengundurkan diri secara signifikan tidak dimoderasi oleh kepuasan karyawan. Perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia perlu mencari cara lain untuk mempertahankan komitmen karyawannya, karena kepuasan karyawan hanya dapat dicapai melalui pengaruh perilaku terhadap karyawannya. Pendekatan berbeda seperti memberikan revisi proposisi nilai karyawan perusahaan berdasarkan valensi yang tepat perlu dilakukan untuk memuaskan pekerja Indonesia sehingga komitmen pekerja dapat dikendalikan.

However, empirical evidence for its impact on firms under challenging conditions still needs empirical evidence. This study evaluates a unique situation in which firms facing the same external threat could end up differently. The relationships between strategic management and firms’ survival abilities were investigated by surveying 67 nickel-mining firms on Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. Each firm’s level in strategic management was measured by a questionnaire based on a two-dimensional model for strategic management maturity comprising process and leadership dimensions. Meanwhile, a firm’s survival ability was assessed in six facets, including detecting a threat, formulating an anticipation plan, implementing the plan, maintaining operations, maintaining performance, and continuing to exist in the future. Pelatihan Fire Drill adalah pelatihan yang menjadi fokus utama penelitian ini, dimana pelatihan ini merupakan pelatihan yang bersifat wajib diikuti oleh semua karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Kirkpatrick sebagai landasan teori. Hasil yang didapatkan sebanyak 56,2 yang memahami materi dari nilai 100. In this contemporary world, when there is a drastic shift in the demographic features of the work... more In this contemporary world, when there is a drastic shift in the demographic features of the workforce, understanding millennial workers' expectations of work becomes an important agenda for the continuity and success of the company. Outside Indonesia, researchers found millennial workers wanted to have high salaries, comprehensive benefit packages, rapid career development opportunities, as well as work location that is near to where they live (Robert Half International and Yahoo! HotJobs, 2008), personal life and an opportunity to grow (Baldonado & Spangenburg, 2009), and career advancement opportunities, and work-life harmony and good relationships with colleagues (The GMP Group & Temasek Polytechnic, 2009). In Indonesia, Sitepu (2012) found nature of the job, supervision and promotion opportunities as three main factors that made millennial workers stay at work. This study was carried out to enrich the findings above, focusing on millennial workers in Jakarta, a big city of Indonesia. The findings are: 1) simultaneously eight occupational factors which are Salary, Benefit, Promotion Opportunities, Supervision, Relationship with Colleagues, the Job Itself, Job Flexibility, and Work Location positively and significantly affected Organisational Commitment, and 2) only four factors (benefits, promotion opportunity, work flexibility and work location) partially affected the Organisational Commitment positively and significantly.

In this contemporary world, when there is a drastic shift in the demographic features of the work... more In this contemporary world, when there is a drastic shift in the demographic features of the workforce, understanding millennial workers' expectations of work becomes an important agenda for the continuity and success of the company. Outside Indonesia, researchers found millennial workers wanted to have high salaries, comprehensive benefit packages, rapid career development opportunities, as well as work location that is near to where they live (Robert Half International and Yahoo! HotJobs, 2008), personal life and an opportunity to grow (Baldonado & Spangenburg, 2009), and career advancement opportunities, and work-life harmony and good relationships with colleagues (The GMP Group & Temasek Polytechnic, 2009). In Indonesia, Sitepu (2012) found nature of the job, supervision and promotion opportunities as three main factors that made millennial workers stay at work. This study was carried out to enrich the findings above, focusing on millennial workers in Jakarta, a big city of Indonesia. The findings are: 1) simultaneously eight occupational factors which are Salary, Benefit, Promotion Opportunities, Supervision, Relationship with Colleagues, the Job Itself, Job Flexibility, and Work Location positively and significantly affected Organisational Commitment, and 2) only four factors (benefits, promotion opportunity, work flexibility and work location) partially affected the Organisational Commitment positively and significantly.
