Infeksi pada otak menimbulkan masalah medis yang serius dan membutuhkan pengenalan dan penanganan segera untuk memperkecil gejala sisa neurologis yang serius di antaranya ialah keterbelakangan mental. Keterbelakangan mental menimbulkan masalah baik yang berdampak secara biologis maupun psikologis. Homeostasis psikologis adalah suatu bentuk perilaku manusia yang ingin mencari keseimbangan atau meniadakan ketidak-seimbangan menjadi seimbang yang terdapat dalam dirinya. A contradiction in a predominantly Muslim country, adolescents in Indonesia are still problematic... more A contradiction in a predominantly Muslim country, adolescents in Indonesia are still problematic in Quran literature. The unique thing happened at SMA 1 Soreang, West Java, where the school got achievement of Quran literacy activities both among students and teachers. This study aims to find answers how the habitual process occurs and why it can last until now entering the third year without boredom among teachers and students. Research data were obtained by observation, in depth interview, and literature reading. The results of this study informed that the habit of reading Al Quran among students stems from the increased interest in reading that is supported by the principal through the task of reading short stories. After reading interest arises, students are accustomed to reading without any burden or coercion. Within a period of twenty-one months, there were formed groups of students and groups of teachers who had a Quran literacy habit. Normally the joy will decrease when the habit is formed and began to appear boredom. Factors of belief and strong hope to gain happiness, reward from God that led to the habit of leading into a culture of literation without boredom.

Rapid development of media makes teenagers easily access their idol through social media. The ass... more Rapid development of media makes teenagers easily access their idol through social media. The association of Indonesian youth in the social media community will impact their daily lifestyles that are often incompatible with Indonesian culture. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of emotional intelligence to celebrity worship, on Korean idol bands that active in social media. Subject of this study is 597 adolescents who idolize Korean bands., taken using snowball sampling technique. The research method implied was quantitative method using Daniel Golemen Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (30 items) and Maltby Celebrity Attitude Scale (34 items). The results of this research indicate that emotional intelligence decrease excessive behavior of celebrity worship in teenagers. Adolescent emotional intelligence should be trained so that Indonesian teenagers can filter incoming culture through social media.

In memorizing the Quran, it is necessary precision of pronunciation of verses in Arabic because t... more In memorizing the Quran, it is necessary precision of pronunciation of verses in Arabic because the different pronunciations may alter the meaning of the verse. This study aims to analyse influence of lip-sync method to form the character of pronunciation of verses on the process of memorizing the Quran from the bio-psychology side. This study was an experimental study on 46 adolescents for control group and 44 for experimental group. The video contains the recording of the teachers recitation reading the first 10 verses of Surah AL-Kahfi distributed to the experimental group. All participants are given 4 days to memorize. The experimental group is required to record the ability of their lip-sync verse according to the video recording that is distributed by displaying the expression as the meaning of the verse is memorized. The results showed that groups using the lip-sync method had a higher level of ability on all items of observation through the ability to memorize, pronunciation, and pause between sentences (p <0.5). Accuracy, fluency, and appreciation will determine how successful synchronization of the lips. Lip-sync also make subjects happier. Lip-sync method can be used as an attractive memorizing tool so that participants can not only be easier to memorize but also correct in pronunciation.

This study aims to analyze the effect of cybersex behavior on the intensity of masturbation in adolescents and the role of religiosity in limiting the influence of cybersex on masturbation habits. The method used in this study is a correlational quantitative method by taking 45 subject of cybersex users' teenagers study obtained by snowballs technique. The data were processed using multiple linear regression. The results showed cybersex behavior affects masturbation habits in adolescents. At the same time, the results of this study indicate religiosity inhibiting masturbation behavior in cybersex users. This study provides a solution to control masturbation habits due to the large exposure of incoming pornographic impressions, since teenagers full of curiosity.

The research design used causality quantitative method. The sampling technique used population with the total of 207 members of Student Press in a university in Bandung. The data collection used a set of questionnaire consists of Organizational Withdrawal Behavior Scale, Goal Orientation Scale, and Organizational Climate Questionnaire. The data analysis used PROCESS Moderation Model test. The results show that goal orientation affect organizational withdrawal behavior significantly and organizational climate can moderate the effect. This finding indicate that organizational climate has a significant role to improve goal orientation on organizational withdrawal behavior.

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) patients need to have sufficient knowledge about the disease to regulate t... more Diabetes Mellitus (DM) patients need to have sufficient knowledge about the disease to regulate the diet. However, many people with DM still break the diet rules although the doctors have explained the disease. This study aims to analyze whether family support acts as moderator variable in the relationship between knowledge and DM dietary compliance in a district of Garut. Garut district is located in West Java Province and has a high number of DM patients and embraces a strong Sundanese culture with strong family's bond. This research used quantitative method with data collected from 32 people with DM in Garut regency. Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA) used to analyze data. The results of this study indicate that both knowledge of disease and family support were able to tend diabetic dietary compliance partially, but family support increased the tendency significantly (p <0.05). Thus, family support moderated the relationship between knowledge of disease and DM dietary compliance. The culture of family's bond namely silih asah, asih, asuh wrapped in the community needs to be more widely socialized to increase dietary compliance people with DM.

Women who love manga, anime, homosexual-themed novels are called fujoshi while men are called fudanshi. The purpose of this study was to find out whether idol worship rates had an effect on homosexual intense on adolescent fujoshi and fudanshi fans of Korean bands. This study is a cross sectional study of 815 adolescents fujoshi and fudanshi Korean band fans. Data was analyzed using Pearson correlation test. The results obtained from this study are idol worship show positively correlated with intense homosexuality in fujoshi and fudanshi fans of Korean bands (p <0.05). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that higher idol worship rate makes higher homosexual intents on fujoshi and fudanshi Korean band fans. We suggest that fujoshi and fudanshi should control social media in order not to become a crucial part to influence their life. This research becomes basic for further research.

The case study was chosen because this approach makes researcher gain a complete understanding of the interrelation and integrated facts and dimensions of the particular case studied. AbstractConcern have been expressed on the deleterious effects (aesthetic, mobility, work product... more AbstractConcern have been expressed on the deleterious effects (aesthetic, mobility, work productivity and economic) due to lymphedema in chronic lymphatic filariasis. Advanced stage of lymphedema is permanent in nature due to irreversible lymph system fibrosis which leads to progressive fibrogenesis in the surrounding tissues. In 3rd stage lymphedema of chronic filariasis, a high volume increase occurred on extremities followed by dermis and subcutis alteration. Present method of management to solve this condition, however, appears to be unsatisfaction. There is need to search for more effective method to decrease fibrosis in 3rd stage lymphedema of chronic filariasis. Low Dose Laser (LDL) have been experimentally studied to decrease tissue fibrosis in many diseases, but none in lymphatic filariasis. This study attempt to analyze the role of LDL on fibrosis process by observing epidermis thickness, basal membrane collagen thickness, and dermis collagen density in 3rd stage lymphedema of chronic filariasis . This is a quasi- experimental research using pre- and post test with control design. Of the 20 cases involved in this study, the control group was given WHO standard lymphedema management whereas the treatment group was given the same management plus LDL in specified accupoints. To observe the difference between treatment and control group, this study uses Independent T Test for normal distribution ratio data at a significant level of 5%, or Mann-Whitney Test for unequal distribution ratio data or ordinal data. This study showed 18.33 μm decrease of median epidermis thickness in treatment group and 6.67 μm increase in control group (p ITT=0.165, p perprotocol=0.034). There was 2.5 μm decrease of basal membrane collagen thickness in treatment group and 15 μm decrease in control group (p=0.027). We found 4 point increase of dermis collagen density score in treatment group and 0.5 point increase in control group (p=0.190). LDL decrease epidermis thickness, decrease basal membrane collagen thickness, doesn't decrease dermis collagen density. However, LDL inhibit the progression of dermis collagen density. Stroke merupakan merupakan penyakit penyebab kecacatan tertinggi di dunia. Jumlah penduduk pender... more Stroke merupakan merupakan penyakit penyebab kecacatan tertinggi di dunia. Jumlah penduduk penderita stroke di Indonesia sebagian besar berada pada usia produktif dan berisiko mengalami stroke ulangan dengan permasalahan yang lebih berat. Stroke berdampak kepada perubahan-perubahan baik biologis pada tubuh manusia maupun kepada psikis penderita. Permasalahan yang ditimbulkan oleh stroke tidak hanya dialami penderita tetapi juga oleh keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji metode terpadu biologipsikologi untuk meningkatkan kekuatan motorik penderita pasca stroke ulangan yang dapat dilakukan di rumah penderita oleh keluarga penderita. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan menggunakan Single Subject Randomized Time Series Design. Subjek adalah seorang perempuan berusia 64 tahun yang mengalami kelumpuhan akibat stroke ulangan. Keluarga yang tinggal dengan subjek hanyalah seorang anak perempuan yang bekerja pada perusahaan swasta. Perlakuan yang diberikan berupa metode terpadu Biopsikologi dengan memberikan masase pada jalur-jalur akupunktur dikombinasi dengan mendengarkan, membaca, dan memahami ayat-ayat Al Quran, serta pengaturuan diet. Penelitian dilakukan selama 2 bulan di rumah penderita di Bandung. Pelaksanaan dilakukan oleh keluarga yang telah dilatih oleh peneliti dengan pengamatan setiap 3 hari. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif berupa grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan motorik pada subjek. Penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai landasan untuk penelitian terapi biopsikologi di rumah pada subjek yang lebih luas.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas mind mapping dan musik klasik terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar sejarah pada siswa MAN dalam kondisi ruangan berisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen pre-test dan post-test dengan kelompok kontrol. Total 100 siswa MAN bertindak sebagai subjek penelitian, terbagi dalam 3 kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dalam ruangan hening, kelompok yang menggunakan mind mapping, serta kelompok yang menggunakan mind mapping dan musik klasik. Analisis inferensial digunakan untuk melihat perbedaan pre-test dan post-test dengan uji Kruskal Walls. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar sejarah secara signifikan pada ketiga kelompok. Efektifitas peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan mind mapping saja atau gabungan mind mapping dan musik klasik, sama dengan hasil belajar menggunakan ruangan hening.

Data were collected from interviews, observation, and analysis of prescription paper documents. The results showed she experienced a complete conflict phase from contradiction, attitude, to behavior phases. She has undernoge strong conflicts both in the decision-making and the abortion processes. Psychological homeostasis is a process of maintaining stability and psychological adaptation to the environmental conditions that occur continuously. This study aims to determine the causes and factors that affect the homeostasis of psychological research on the subject. This study is a qualitative research with survey techniques, observation, and interviews on acase study. The case study was chosen because this approach makes researcher gain a complete understanding of the interrelation and integrated facts and dimensions of the particular case studied. The result of this study indicates family factor and education of parent play important role in the homeostatic capability psychological research on the subject.

AbstractConcern have been expressed on the deleterious effects (aesthetic, mobility, work product... more AbstractConcern have been expressed on the deleterious effects (aesthetic, mobility, work productivity and economic) due to lymphedema in chronic lymphatic filariasis. Advanced stage of lymphedema is permanent in nature due to irreversible lymph system fibrosis which leads to progressive fibrogenesis in the surrounding tissues. In 3rd stage lymphedema of chronic filariasis, a high volume increase occurred on extremities followed by dermis and subcutis alteration. Present method of management to solve this condition, however, appears to be unsatisfaction. There is need to search for more effective method to decrease fibrosis in 3rd stage lymphedema of chronic filariasis. Low Dose Laser (LDL) have been experimentally studied to decrease tissue fibrosis in many diseases, but none in lymphatic filariasis. This study attempt to analyze the role of LDL on fibrosis process by observing epidermis thickness, basal membrane collagen thickness, and dermis collagen density in 3rd stage lymphedema of chronic filariasis . This is a quasi- experimental research using pre- and post test with control design. Of the 20 cases involved in this study, the control group was given WHO standard lymphedema management whereas the treatment group was given the same management plus LDL in specified accupoints. To observe the difference between treatment and control group, this study uses Independent T Test for normal distribution ratio data at a significant level of 5%, or Mann-Whitney Test for unequal distribution ratio data or ordinal data. This study showed 18.33 μm decrease of median epidermis thickness in treatment group and 6.67 μm increase in control group (p ITT=0.165, p perprotocol=0.034). There was 2.5 μm decrease of basal membrane collagen thickness in treatment group and 15 μm decrease in control group (p=0.027). We found 4 point increase of dermis collagen density score in treatment group and 0.5 point increase in control group (p=0.190). LDL decrease epidermis thickness, decrease basal membrane collagen thickness, doesn't decrease dermis collagen density. However, LDL inhibit the progression of dermis collagen density. Jumlah penduduk penderita stroke di Indonesia sebagian besar berada pada usia produktif dan berisiko mengalami stroke ulangan dengan permasalahan yang lebih berat. Stroke berdampak kepada perubahan-perubahan baik biologis pada tubuh manusia maupun kepada psikis penderita. Permasalahan yang ditimbulkan oleh stroke tidak hanya dialami penderita tetapi juga oleh keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji metode terpadu biologipsikologi untuk meningkatkan kekuatan motorik penderita pasca stroke ulangan yang dapat dilakukan di rumah penderita oleh keluarga penderita. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan menggunakan Single Subject Randomized Time Series Design. Subjek adalah seorang perempuan berusia 64 tahun yang mengalami kelumpuhan akibat stroke ulangan. Keluarga yang tinggal dengan subjek hanyalah seorang anak perempuan yang bekerja pada perusahaan swasta. Perlakuan yang diberikan berupa metode terpadu Biopsikologi dengan memberikan masase pada jalur-jalur akupunktur dikombinasi dengan mendengarkan, membaca, dan memahami ayat-ayat Al Quran, serta pengaturuan diet. Penelitian dilakukan selama 2 bulan di rumah penderita di Bandung. Pelaksanaan dilakukan oleh keluarga yang telah dilatih oleh peneliti dengan pengamatan setiap 3 hari. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif berupa grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan motorik pada subjek. Penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai landasan untuk penelitian terapi biopsikologi di rumah pada subjek yang lebih luas.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas mind mapping dan musik klasik terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar sejarah pada siswa MAN dalam kondisi ruangan berisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen pre-test dan post-test dengan kelompok kontrol. Total 100 siswa MAN bertindak sebagai subjek penelitian, terbagi dalam 3 kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dalam ruangan hening, kelompok yang menggunakan mind mapping, serta kelompok yang menggunakan mind mapping dan musik klasik. Analisis inferensial digunakan untuk melihat perbedaan pre-test dan post-test dengan uji Kruskal Walls. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar sejarah secara signifikan pada ketiga kelompok. Efektifitas peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan mind mapping saja atau gabungan mind mapping dan musik klasik, sama dengan hasil belajar menggunakan ruangan hening.

This research aims to arrange from the Islamic bioethic’s and biopsychology’s perspective on conflict of an abortion failure case and its effect on child's disability. This is a phenomenological study of a Muslim woman with experienced abortion failure and has a disabled child. Data were collected from interviews, observation, and analysis of prescription paper documents. The results showed she experienced a complete conflict phase from contradiction, attitude, to behavior phases. She has undernoge strong conflicts both in the decision-making and the abortion processes. This conflict from the perspective of Islamic bioethics relates to the obligation of a wife to obey the husband and the prohibition of fetal killing.
