I realize as soon as I wake that I have to hurry to get to Quidditch practice. I groan as I sit up and feel the aches and pains from all those weeks of not working out or practicing. There was probably something I could have done to help stay in shape a little so I didn't have to hurt so much now. Nest time, which I hope there isn't a next time, I'll know to keep up some kind of exercising.

Our practices are everyday this week to prepare fro the game. I hope the soreness wears off soon. We did well against the Pride of Portree and advanced to round two of the British and Irish League Cup. This week our game is against the Wigtown Wanderers.

Last Saturday was such a great day. Seeing Meghan McCormack's face when she realized that was playing and not on the side lines was brilliant. We've always had some kind of personal competition with each other on the pitch. Off the pitch is a totally different story that I don't like to think about. If she wasn't Kurley's sister, I wouldn't have to worry with seeing her outside of the game.

I knew the game was going to be excellent as soon as I saw Justin and Susan in the stands holding Liam. My little man was here to watch and he looked as if he was enjoying himself already. Then I saw Lavender join them and I didn't think anything could be any better. I was flying high even without my broom.

The whole team had a great day and played one of our best games this season. Everyone worked well together. It was almost artistic. If playing like this continues, we'll surely get to be one on the teams sent to the European Cup next month.

When our seeker, Ted Rogers, caught the snitch, the crowds went wild. A sea of blue and gold showing their support roared throughout the stadium. It was thrilling. This is what I always wanted. This is my life.

I flew directly up to Susan, Justin, Lavender, and Liam. Justin and Susan congratulated me. I thanked them then found Lavender with a smile that made me want to take her in my arms right there and kiss her with everything that I had. But I'm not sure if she's ready to be in the public eye with me again yet. I'll have to make sure what she wants before displaying her as mine. I hope she wants it too. I settle for winking at her for now. I'll show her how much it meant to me that she was here later.

That's when I heard it. My name from my little man. Suddenly the noise, the crowd, the pitch and everything disappeared. If I thought I was flying high before, I was wrong. I can't move; I can't breathe but it's not a bad feeling. It's a totally awesome feeling.

Liam reaches for me and I automatically go to take him. Susan backs up a little. She reminds me I'm on a broom high in the air and in front of thousands of witches and wizards but I don't care.

After a little coaxing from Justin I really owe him for this one I have Liam with me on my broom. I have Justin place a discreet sticking charm on Liam as a precaution although I don't think I'll have any trouble holding on to him. Forever if they'll let me. I look over to Lavender and she nods, smiling at me. That's my cue and I join my teammates on the final victory lap with my little man around the pitch.

After the lap, I bring Liam back and hand him back to Susan. I thank her and Justin for bringing him and making everything even better. I turn to Lavender and tell her to meet me at the changing rooms. I've taken care of everything and she won't have any problems getting through to me at a game anymore.

A noise from Wronski knocks me out of my wonderful memory. I check my watch and notice I'm going to be late if I don't hurry. I have to go because I have a date with Lavender tonight and I don't want to be stuck at an extra long practice because my mind is on the most important people in my life.
