God, he's adorable!!!

Okay, so he got his synagis shots today, and his tetanus, and polio. The nurse said he's a strong boy for being so tiny.
He's 17 weeks, 12 pounds 10 ounces. 23 inches.
He starts cereal today!!! YAY!

I've been teaching him to use the spoon, with the Hylands tablets.
Oh, the nurse says its awhile til his teeth come in. He's still teething, but its going to be awhile. She says what she sees are sucking sores. :\ I want him to have teeth!

Is anyone else making their own baby food? I bought the magic bullet chopper for myself as a christmas present, and I think its perfect for this kind of thing.

other than that, everything is good. Oh, except Sean doesn't want to be in the crib. He likes the pack n play bassinet more than it. The swings batteries died. (I think its because Pat doesn't turn the music off EVAR)
Also, how big is TOO big for the swing? I'm going to utilize that as long as I can!

omg. SO! I'm not allowed to pick Sean up for two weeks, starting tuesday. I'll be in the hospital all day monday until 10am tuesday morning. I'm having a kidney biopsy done. Its like he's gonna cry, and I can just stare at him blankly like, "uhh yeah. sorry kid, can't pick you up..." dammit. I can hold him, but not lift him. Pats working 6 days a week the next two weeks, and my mom only has 13 hours vacation time. How can I do this?
Should I hire a nanny for two weeks?

I would say my brother and his girlfriend, but... when I went out the other day, they didn't even answer the phones the 30 times I called. Phones are plural because I called BOTH of their cellphones, my dad's line, the main line... 30+ times the main line 10 times at least dad's line, 4 or 5 each on the cellphones.

that is SO not cool.
It was Pat and my first datenight in a few weeks, and last one before my surgery. I left him at the movies, and frantically drove myself home, to a house where I open the door to "Oh. Dad. Julies home. See yah."
