When the leading lady Rose is losing the customers' attraction, Editha replaces her. Due to the fact that her double life could be discovered, she decides to quit. As a result, the nightclub is forced to close. In college she gets a role in the annual college show. The ex-nightclub owner finds out who his star really was and manages to bring her back. On opening night they are arrested because the former star has found out the truth about the job offer. After that the college wants to expel her.
