It is part of the Count Forlano's collection, which his widow wants to sell to the Italian government. Lupin learned about the gold through Fulvia, one of his infiltrators. Later Lupin is recognized by the countess Forlano and decides to do business (too) with her, after having saved her daughter Antonia, under psychiatric care from the death of the father for whom she feels responsible. Antonia also knows the place where the count's diaries are hidden and, after a suicide attempt, ends up hospitalized in the clinic of Dr. Martini, in the pay of the fascist regime. The situation is becoming increasingly tangled and it will take Dr. Freud's intervention to see a solution. Written by Baldinotto da Pistoia See less
