Seizing a broom, he dips it into the water and proceeds to brush his coat which immediately catches fire and a soda water bottle comes in very useful. Feeling slightly disturbed in his mind over these occurrences, he sits down on a chair to think only to find that it has suddenly changed into a lighted lamp which makes things very warm for him. His Satanic Majesty appears and the clown tries to catch him but is only a very poor second and finally throws himself head first into a large water barrel where presumably his troubles are ended.
