First he makes a tree grow from a common anvil and then does some trick balancing with poles in which the entire weight of his body apparently floats on the air. Another trick a of his consists in making a woman appear from a box and placing her in a supine position on the pedestal. After some passes with his hands, two spirits or phantoms issue and then go back into the woman's person. The manipulator finally changes her into the figure of a goddess. In his last trick he makes an air bubble of himself, frightening the natives who view it and run away. When they are gone, however, he resumes his natural form.
