Hubby seeks revenge but Ham and Bud are fleet of foot. So a plan is concocted by which Ham is induced to put on the gloves in a finish bout with the Masked Marvel. Ham and Bud believe in preparedness, so they examine the stage beforehand and find a trap door under one of the corners, through which, it is arranged, Bud will slip Ham a glove loaded with a brick. Ham almost quits when the Marvel removes his mask and is disclosed to be the wrathful hubby. But he manages to live through the first round and is all set for the big plan when the Marvel forces him to exchange corners. Bud, unsuspecting, slips the loaded glove on the Marvel's hand.
