To be neglected angers Ernie. A quarrel is the result. At dinner that night Bess receives a telegram telling her that her brother will pay her a visit. Ernie has never seen the brother and Bess knows this, and makes use of the knowledge. She decides to make Ernie jealous. As Ernie is going to work the next morning he bumps into a stranger, whom he watches go into his house. He follows and finds his wife in the arms of another man. He is angry and goes to his room to think. There he decides to make Bess sorry by making her jealous. He uses his faithful butler to carry out his plans. Dressing him as a girl, they go into the adjoining room of Bess and Phil. A terrible battle of who can love the loudest takes place. Bess and Ernie realize how hopeless it is and both desert their mates. They collide upstairs and tell each other what they think. Phil and the butler get there in time to avert a tragedy.
