Twenty years later finds Morse a retired capitalist and Folly a beautiful girl, surrounded in luxury. Anthony Rand, a society idler, wishes to marry her. She prefers John Gresham, a wealthy westerner, and marries him. After their first wedded year Folly entertains lavishly. At a New Year's Eve party Anthony Rand induces her to dance on a table in a café. Her husband disapproves and leaves the place in a rage. Rand now urges Folly to obtain a divorce. He invites her and Morse to his cabin in the woods for a rest. He tries to make love to her and she resents it. Morse is knocked unconscious when he tries to interfere. Folly flees into the woods and finally comes to a cabin, where she seeks shelter. It happens to be the very cabin where her husband is also taking a rest. Rand has pursued her, and when he enters the cabin Gresham floors him with a powerful blow. Folly begs Gresham to forgive her, which he readily does. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
