While leaving the scene Waga bumps into Naruse Asami(Matsuyuki Yasuko) but flees before she can properly identify him. Detective Imanishi(Ken Watanabe) and his partner are sent to the scene and thus begins a murder mystery with Waga trying to elude the detectives while trying to come to grips with his own demons at the same time.
