The intertwining stories follow the demise of the couch, and culminate when main characters Hank and Reed, aided by an arsenal of dynamite and other incendiaries, take the couch on its final journey. The movie is a collection of vignettes: a romance, a horror piece, a French New Wave piece, a mockumentary, and a slapstick comedy.
