Jeffrey Clarke has taken Superintendent Amanda Prosser hostage and corners the 2 Kent brothers David and the real Gabriel. Jack gets roped in to do the speech little knowing the drama unfolding upstairs. Panic ensues when a gun goes off. Roger fills in Jack and Sam on Mr Clarke state of mind. A fight for the gun ends with 2 people shot. Gabriel gets Jeffrey to let him attend to his injured brother. Gina is nervous when required to be the negotiator despite being suspended and becomes concerned when Mr Clarke talks about time running out. Prosser starts to freeze when the pressure ramps up.
