Thorne then tells Stephanie that he and Macy have finally reconnected and that he never wants to lose her again. At the hospital, Darla, Saul and Sally try to cheer Macy up. Alone with her mother, Macy confesses that she is very scared. Dr. Webb walks in with the result of the biopsy: Macy does indeed have throat cancer and it unclear whether the tumor has been detected early enough to be defeated. Later, Anthony pays Macy a visit to pledge his support. In the San Bernardino Mountains, a storm is brewing outside and inside the cabin. Sheila reacts strongly to James questioning her about Lauren Fenmore and refuses to answer him. James does not give up and keeps asking new questions, including why she almost missed out on her own wedding. Sheila gets terribly upset when he insists that an encounter with Lauren was the cause.
