Initially nervous, Sister Bertrille is a hit and Claudio's manager, Manuel Montique, offers her her own show. After discussing the pros and cons with the other sisters and the Reverend Mother, Sister Bertrille is conflicted, but ultimately declines due to what she imagines to be the trappings of fame. To ease her turning down the offer, she demands everything as part of her contract.
