While she is performing she witnesses a murder and calls her godfather, who happens to be Ironside. However, just before she talks to him her boyfriend hangs the phone up and the two immediately go on the run with the killer hot on their trail. Ironside then tracks them to Los Angeles and before he gets them into protective custody Jamie is killed.
