He gets free drinks, bothers people, throws people out etc. They cannot get rid of him. When Nellie hears that he is going to have a boxing match, George sends Gilbert in to fight him. If Gilbert wins, Bill can't come back to the pub. Light on his feet, and with a bit of acrobatics, Gilbert avoids Bill and accidentally knocks him out, and wins the match.
