He would be willing to be deputy if Mrs. Davidson returns, but not under Vera who is next in line. The overseer of prisons reminds Mrs. Davidson of what will happen to those soon to be considered for parole if Vera is appointed, and she decides to come back. Bea is transferred to the garden to isolate her. Doreen's mother doesn't want to see her, but Mrs. Davidson suggests she could help finance the halfway house so that Doreen would have a place to go. Following up, Mrs. Hemmings visits Angie who has a suggestion about getting to know Doreen, and Hemmings visits her at Wentworth. Judy is in labor and taken to hospital. After the birth, Karen and Greg go to visit Judy's mother (Lorraine) with the news about Baby Daniel. Lorraine is hostile and even angry that the baby is named for her father, Mum's husband.
