After confronting his ex-wife Janet about her plans to move the kids to California, Tommy grows increasingly frustrated and his drinking gets worse. When Bobby Teff, a firefighter from another house comes out in a newspaper article and reveals that there is a secret society of homosexual firefighters, Chief Reilly is livid.
