Watchman Romano Hartseer and officers Tina Zonderland, Jeroen van Veen and Sylvester Daals are called to the scene, and when Sylvester apparently kills Faysal, one of the youngsters, a destructive riot ensues. With the police station's chief gone and the new chief, Arend van der Voort, not yet present, detective Lucas Visbeen has the difficult task of managing the extremely hectic day. Sylvester feels guilty for Faysal's death, plagued by his Lonsdale childhood in Volendam. His sordid history has been disclosed to pesky lawyer Prem Radhakishun and fierce Moroccan politician Tara el Hamchaoui by the station's former chief. Tara also accuses the police force of racism after Lucas makes an unwise decision in sending the mobile units to the riot. Detective Altan Uslu looks after his younger brother, Efe, who is being forced to hide heroine for a dealer, and is startled by the return of his criminal cousin Dogan. Officers Teun Gerards and Helga Kuiper are called to a scene of public indecency, which turns out to be a group of idealists trying to stimulate brotherhood between races by shooting interracial porn videos. Teun is startled by the 'mastermind' behind the 'organisation', the seductive Charmaine. An old lady, Mrs. Hartekamp comes to the police station claiming her radio has been stolen. Romano tries to have his stinky uniform cleaned; detective Leona Savonet receives it and hands it to him. Written by Dutch90 See less
