Wilsberg finds the adoptive parents: Gunnar and Suzanne Frau Weltenbrink, who run a construction firm. Baby Lisa is kidnapped shortly after, then Wilsberg finds Franziska staged the clash to get his help for free. Georg and Alex are arrested as presumed kidnapping cahoots. Franziska is helped by Lisa's father Sven and his ex-con brother Mathias demanding a 100 000 Euro ransom, to start anew in Australia. The police and Wilsberg mess up the ransom delivery, leaving the Weltenbrinks desperate and unable to meet the million new demand, which Wilsberg volunteers to deliver, but he finds himself knocked down besides a corpse and blamed at gunpoint.
