Hanna persuades Clara to remove her Utrax drug-implant and to banish her past identity. Clara seems content. But when they raid a holiday cabin and Clara finds a photograph of a mother and daughter, the image stirs something deep within her: a desire to find her own biological mother. The remaining trainees are transported to The Meadows, where they are introduced to their group leaders, Leo Garner and Joanna McCoy, and assigned identities to help them assimilate into society - a task overseen by new CIA recruit, Terri Miller. Sandy (formerly 242) embraces this strange new life, whilst others, including Jules (260) struggle to maintain the pretence. Marissa is met by an old colleague, John Carmichael, who has not only taken over the investigation into Jerome Sawyer's death, but is also Director of The Meadows facility. He is suspicious of Marissa, who earns his trust by discovering from Sandy that Hanna lured Clara out of Utrax by showing her a photo of her mother, Samira. Marissa knows that Samira is the bait they need to use to get Clara back. Clara's longing for her mother gets the better of her and she secretly speaks to the mother and daughter from the holiday cabin, who offer to help Clara find her real mother. Clara discovers an internet profile of her mother on the daughter's ipad, and they rush Clara to a hotel in Bucharest where Samira is allegedly staying. But it is a trick and only Marissa awaits. Hanna is too late discovering the ruse and, as Utrax guards descend on the cabin, is caught in an explosion and assumed dead. At the hotel, Carmichael informs Marissa of Hanna's death, whilst Clara is ambushed by Utrax guards and returned to The Meadows. As Marissa sits in the lobby, feeling conflicted and guilty, she is astonished to see Hanna standing before her. Very much alive. Written by Amazon Studios See less
