His day is turned upside down when he is fired from his job for not disclosing his illness. He wanders Orange County, CA all day, trying to figure out a way to break the news to his wife Brenda. Napoleon's mental illness is highlighted by his struggles with depression and mania. During his depressive episodes, he attempts to harm himself when he drives his car into a light pole, pours boiling water on his arm, burns his leg with a hot curling iron and destroys his psychiatrist's office. At the end of his tumultuous day, Napoleon realizes that after every dark night, there's a bright day. Written by Bo Apostolache See less
