He describes the beauty of the planet to her through playful tricks like walking on water, while trying to loosen Layla's conservatism. Disillusioned, Layla plays along, accepting the reality that her brother is alive and that she is no longer old. She goes back to her daily routine of cleaning the enormous house. Mark on the other hand persists on informing her of Enceladus, Saturn's moon, which seems to harbor life. Layla lectures him on how wasteful and irresponsible he was with his life. In turn, he counters her argument by relating life to Enceladus. Layla refuses and returns to her art. She eventually collapses in her brother's bedroom crying in regret, however her brother leads her up to the telescope in order to gaze at Saturn and Enceladus together.See less
