The girl's efforts to raise the money are fruitless and her rejected lover will only give her the money if she consents to marry him. She refuses and applies to her lover, and the latter soon suggests an ingenious plan. When she gives the messenger a purse full of pieces of stone he overpowers him, then. dons his cloak and takes his way to the father's prison, only to be recognized and bound beside the other prisoner, while the hut is set alight by the outlaws. The girl sees the smoke and courageously enters and releases the men. Written by Kinematograph & Lantern Weekly - May 4, 1911 See less
