Sun Columnist Jane Moore, and Equality and Human Rights Commission Boss, Trevor Phillips, reviewed the Sunday news papers with Andrew Marr. The Work and Pensions Secretary, James Purnell MP, spoke to Andrew about the proposed changes to the benefits system to reorganise the incapacity benefit and treat these people in a positive and supportive fashion rather than a punitive one as now. Via video link the Prime Minister of Kenya, Raila Odinga, spoke to Andrew about his controversial election, his opposition to Mugabe, his plan to return Zimbabwe to democracy and what he intends to discuss during his visit to London. Andrew interviewed the leader of the opposition, David Cameron MP, about various issues including knife crime, welfare reform, MPs expenses, referenda on European treaties and election promises.
