When the group turns out to be more nefarious, and vigilante focused than either of them originally realized, a power struggle ensues between his friend and the other, more mysterious leader of the group. Disconnecting from his life yet again, Grayson is powerless to fight back when both him and his friend are murdered by the mysterious leader and the group members loyal to him. Though somehow it isn't the end for him as Grayson wakes up in the place where he died, haunted by a phantom figure, silently guiding him back to the same people that killed him. What he finds on his way back to his murderer leads him to a conspiracy that ties his former group to the richest man in the world.
