Painter Marlene Lenssen rudely confirms Althen shortly called by the previous evening and left after a phone call, murmuring about Nosferatu, but denies knowing him. In Alten's car, copies are found of original letters from director Murnau. From her wheelchair-stuck, yet cheerful twin sister and neighbor Martha, whom a regular beggar informs indicated, the team learns Marlene Lenssen and her work are Nosferatu-obsessed, and Martha's accident drove bitterly them apart.
