However, her mother-in-law objects to it, but Sarika does not pay heed to her. Malti, who is dissatisfied with her husband despite a good physical relationship, doubts that she is doing this because she shares a close bond with Sarika, believing that Sarika is brainwashing her. Suddenly, Sarika passes away during a Holi festival, and the postmortem reveals she was poisoned. Her husband, Diwakar, decides to investigate the circumstances surrounding her murder and comes across a box that holds a hidden secret known only to Sarika and Malti.
