She was clasping a list of four female guests at a party in the hotel. The first, Véronique, is found death, probably pushed from a cliff. Police detective Stanislas Lamérat presumes it's a list of hired gun targets. The other three get together, hoping to save their lives by helping to find out the truth, even attending the funeral.
