Leah sends John a text from the burner phone saying Stephen killed Susie, which he shows to Amy and Cash. Stephen tells Leah he tracked Susie down as she was about to leave town and tried to take her to the police but she struggled, fell and hit her head. Leah tries to get him to turn himself in but he runs when he sees the police and is arrested and confesses. Justin is released but declines to move back in with Leah straightaway.
