Unlike ancient religious depictions of this misunderstood character, our story follows a woman who possesses unique gifts and has the power of life and death. She has taken the guise of a Fortune Teller and is on the run with a confederate deserter named Rubin. When a Lieutenant for the Confederacy catches up to the pair, her power is revealed.
