That transformed it's culture, traditions and customs in to a particular way ...See moreThe island of Zakynthos is situated in the frontiers of Greece and the rest of Europe and very close to Italy with witch Zakynthos had very particular relations. That transformed it's culture, traditions and customs in to a particular way (along with the other Ionian Islands). This particularity surprises the visitor who comes in the island for the first time, especially if he is a Greek one.
