The main character, James, is an undecised, scared man, who can't find the strengh within him to fully commit into the relationship he has with his girlfriend Jenny. One morning, after a big argument between them, James finally decides to act and goes to buy an engagement ring. But he gets mugged by Bennett, a desperate man who needs the ring to marry his girlfriend, in a vegetative state. Their encounter will change both of them in a radical way.
