Mike meets Alec, an only child to a young single mother. The two become good friends through-out the experience and Alec influences Mike in more ways than one. But just when things seem to be working out for the both of them, Mike learns that Alec is diagnosed with Leukemia and can't find a match for bone marrow donations.
