While sitting with Lamar and hoping to get a call about a promotion, Charles gets a call from the hospital with some terrible news. 6 months later, Charles is on his way to an interview in his new home, Atlanta, GA. He goes back to working as behavior therapist, but this time with two kids in the foster care system, Jeremiah Peters and Terry May. After much thought, Charles decides to see a therapist and begins his sessions. Charles tries to tie up a loose end by reaching out to Jasmine, but she still won't take his call.
