In 1974, when white Australia was watching Happy Days, they were forcibly moved again. In 2011 only a handful of speakers of their languages remain. These elders remember tribal life and bush ways, but when they are gone, their languages and skills may be gone forever. These elders tell us how they remained resilient and how they now use new ways to express their ancient culture, keeping their hearts strong. This is an essential story of loss and hope; told by them, so the world will know. Written by Anonymous See less
